- xsecretfiles, on 08/02/2008, -2/+3WTF I'm not kidding when I say my doctor diagnosed me with this virus a month ago and put me on a treatment to kill the infection, which according to him has died out. It's the same antibiotic treatment
No I don't have cancer, My stomach was just very unsettling, so that's why I went to see the doctor right away
...I am so damn lucky I guess.... - Nerdculture, on 08/02/2008, -0/+3 Apparently most people actually have this bacteria in their stomachs but only a few end up having problems with it. I personally had to go through weeks of pain, an upper endoscopy, and nearly 600 pills to get "rid of this bug" and to this day still have frequent pain.
That's right, I'm going to die of stomach cancer XD - XFactor416, on 08/02/2008, -0/+1H. pylori also causes peptic ulcers in people, so just because you have it doesn't mean that you're getting cancer, or will get cancer.

Killing h. pylori has also shown to increase the chances for esophageal cancer -- it seems that h. pylori need to exist in some form.

It took me nearly two months to recover from both the virus and huge amounts of antibiotics I took for 2 weeks straight. Even now I have random pains in my abdomen... It's good to know someone's doing research on all this crap
